Nike and Taylor, below are some of my existing songs that may fit in some of these briefs quite nicely. I’ve organized them by category, with any relevant details in the song description. Please enjoy!

  1. FEMALE EMPOWERMENT

BADDEST BITCH ON CAMPUS - Brendan McCreary 100%

This was written for the movie Half 2 Death, but it didn’t make it in. Electro, EDM, and tropical house elements, plus a dub type drop for the bridge. The song is complete but needs a legit mix and master.

GIMMEGIMME - Brendan McCreary 65% :: Dani Cleghorne 35%

A soulful “Whitney-esque” tune, with an old school R&B vibe. The “sexy” sounds in the bridge can easily be edited out no problem…lolz!

SINGLE MOTHERS - BRENDAN MCCREARY 100%

An Epic, “Prince-esque” mega jam with real horns! Clearly this is me singing, not a woman, but given the heartfelt and deeply personal topic, I figured I would put it in the female empowerment section. As it is all about female empowerment. Clearly a niche topic but sooner or later this will come in handy.

SIREN - Brendan McCreary 60% :: Albert Chiang 20% :: Aleks Urbaniak 20%

A “Major Lazer-esque” - femme fatale type jam. Sexy, driving, 4 on the floor, with some reggaeton flavor as well.This is still in demo form, tho is effectively complete in arrangement. A mix and some polish is needed.

EMPOWERING ENERGETIC POP/SOUL

GOT MY NUMBER - Brendan McCreary 33.3% :: Albert Chiang 33.3% :: Andrew Chiang 33.3%

Got my Number is from my soul group called Fevertalk. It’s fast and energetic with a universal theme. People have likened it to MJ, Prince etc etc.

FINER THINGS - Brendan McCreary 100%

This is ultimately a rock song, so not quite pop or soul, but it’s got real horns, and pop elements. Anthemic, arena rock ready, all about going for what you want. Pretty rad. Seems like it would fit in a commercial. Stick around or skip to the second chorus for the horn section!

modern urban female

GET AWAY - Brendan McCreary 50% :: Maggie Gabbard 50%

This song is clearly unfinished. The production is slammin’ but the lyrics remain unwritten. Heavily Trap, and “Major Lazer” influenced, it’s about independence from a bad relationship. Despite there not being lyrics, the chorus feels pretty awesome as is. Lots of hooks!

MAJESTY - Brendan McCreary 33.3% :: Olivia Pucci 33.3% :: Dub Session Beats 33.3%

This song has a soaring electro vibe, chill verses, slammin’ choruses, with a “Cyndi Lauper-esque” lead vocal, espcially in the outro.

EDM ROCK/PUNK

SEX BOMB BUSINESS - Brendan McCreary 100%

This is a raging EDM song I’ve had kickin’ around for a while. I’m not sure it’s rock/punk but it does “rock”. Lots of build ups and drops. It also features the ever trendy vocal/slice/sample hook. It needs an official mix and some fixes here and there to polish it to completion.

home & togetherness

WE’RE GIVING IT ALL - Brendan McCreary 100%

This song has folksy acoustic guitars, catchy melodies, and quirky lyrics…it even has WHISTLES! And the bridge is literally about moving into a new house or apartment.

Building inspirational

AND AFTER ALL - Brendan McCreary 50% :: Bear McCreary 50%

Melancholy, acoustic guitars and a real orchestra. The lyrics are sad, but simultaneously inspiring. The song is about passing from one phase of life to the next. A pretty universal theme in most our lives.

CASUAL - Brendan McCreary 100%

A “Jeff Buckley-esque” love song. What makes this song unique (amongst other factors) is all the instruments are actually electric guitar, despite sounding like a cello.

NOT ENOUGH - Brendan McCreary 33.3% :: Dani Cleghorne 33.3% :: Unknown 33.3%

This song feels like some of the weirder Rihanna ballads. It’s predominantly piano driven, with sparse production elements as sweetener. The whole thing is tied together with Fyfe’s intimate and vulnerable delivery.

With regard to the unknown third songwriter, Dani came into the studio with the piano riff from someone else. I’ve sent her an email to get the details.
